At hypernuclei.kph.uni-mainz.de an online available database is maintained in which measurements of hypernuclei are collected, scientifically evaluated, and regularly updated.
In the past, systematic uncertainties in important observables, the limited validity of the interpretation of results, and bias effects on the selection of data have sometimes been underestimated. This resulted in some inconsistent and unresolvable discrepant data as well as some common incomplete data sets.
This database is for the benefit of the whole field of experimental and theoretical nuclear strangeness physics. Its accuracy and usefulness depend in large part on the interaction between its users and the maintainers. We appreciate comments, criticisms, and suggestions for improvements of any kind by e-mail: hyperdb(at)uni-mainz.de.
